Our most recent adventure was a big move from CO to NY state. A quick why: we needed a fresh start. (I hope to write more about our why in a future post.)

We packed everything we had into our mini van and a 9×12 Uhaul trailer. (No furniture!) It was both weird and neat to see everything we owned fit into that trailer. (I have to say that we did do a much needed purge beforehand which helped immensely!) So all 7 of us and our pup, Little Joe, hit the road for a 3 day trip across the country.

We arrived in a very small country town where Anton’s aunt graciously let us crash in her little summer home until we find our own place. What a wonderful and blessed time it has been here while we adjust to a new place and a new life. The kids have been having so much fun with a pool, trampoline, river, and woods right in the “backyard”. And campfires and s’mores in the evening. What else does a boy need?!

I’m very excited to say that as I write, we are in the process of closing on a house! It has been quite an adventure but we are so thankful that everything has worked out. We can’t wait to move into our new home!
